Turkey Caves Cappadocia

Jan 24, 2018  Cappadocia is settled on a high, dry plateau in the middle of Turkey. The region is one of hot, dry summers and cold, sometimes snowy, winters. Jan 25, 2014  There are so many cave hotels in the Cappadocia area of Turkey. Old times peoples had made the caves by engraved volcanik rocks for shelters from wild animals. In our times this caves have been restored and are made cave hotels. All cave hotels are comfortable and you can find local delicious foods there are. If you dont stay cave hotels while your holiday sure that you lost so many thing. Apr 06, 2012  When I first learned about Cappadocia, I was up late watching a late night Sci Fi show on Ancient Alien God theory. The spokey of underground cities where 20,000 people could live in caves. The spoke cave cities of 13 levels deep and how for thousands of years these caves had lasted time.

Cave Hotels In Cappadocia Turkey

This hotel certainly has a very high Wow factor as reported in many other posts here. Unfortunately this factor did not filter through to the service side as much as we expected for a hotel in this price range. There is no map/guide to the hotel facilities. The bathroom floor flooded when we used the shower, and was not fixed despite two reports to reception, so we never got to use the jacussi. The lower hinge on the door covering the fridge was broken, a fact not reported by staff when they checked the mini bar. We asked for our room to be cleaned as we went out for 5 hour tour. Came back, not cleaned. Was informed that room would be cleaned “by 5pm” Were only given cushions for our outside chairs on the second day. 1Euro a bag for bell boy to move them from room to reception? Breakfast was decent, but charging extra for eggs is just cheap. Bed very comfortable. The young lady on reception should not be in the hospitality business. She grimaced when we asked her to call a taxi even though we had the number. It would have been nice if she could have looked up from her phone,a smile maybe,as we paid and left and said 'goodbye, or have you enjoyed your stay! 'Not a big deal, but a nice touch when spending this amount on the hotel. (Not a place for those with poor knees, lots of stairs and inclines)
